As an independent, Australia-wide charity, Dymocks Children Charities aims to provide new books around Australia to priority locations to children so they can lead healthier and happier lives through literacy. During the Covid-19 pandemic, Dymocks have provided over $200,000 in books, puzzles and games to support vulnerable children, but it doesn’t stop there, the Dymocks mission is to promote a love of reading and improve literacy for young generations to come.

Our Sweet Petite is fun-sized and full of wonder, like a children’s book ready to enchant the mind! For the month of October, we will be donating 10% of our Sweet Petite sales to Dymocks Children Charities to support children who have limited access to books.

Literacy levels across Australia are, surprisingly, among the most vulnerable groups
in society, meaning that many children in vulnerable situations are going without valuable
resources to help develop their creative young minds.
Dymocks Childrens Charities are an independent Australia-wide charity whose mission is to
promote a love of reading and improve literacy outcomes for children in Australia.
To date, Dymocks have provided over 200,000 books to over 152,000 children in more than 650
locations across the country, including over $200,000 worth of new books, puzzles and games to
vulnerable children during the Covid-19 pandemic alone.
All children should have access to good books, regardless of their circumstances in life, and
Dymocks are helping to make that a reality.
